Cozy place with amazing food! I bought cinnamon buns, quiche and a loaf sour dough bread. The quiche and cinnamon bun were amazing! The bread was an add on because of a recommendation of a customer. Oh my he was right. My daughter’s words were what are we going to do when we run out of this bread. We live 40 miles away.

Great, home cooked to order breakfast. I would recommend arriving as soon as they open at 7, as it is a true small, family feel breakfast/brunch spot with only a few people working (the owner being one of them I believe). Since everything seems to be cook to order, I would assume 40-60 minutes is the average time that you will spend between ordering/eating, so I wouldn’t recommend if you are on a time crunch. The orange rolls were great and people repeatedly came in to order homemade fresh cinnamon rolls. My husband said that the hand rolled sausage was great as well. Will definitely be back in next time that we visit the area!

We came to Lakemont for the weekend and enjoyed breakfast here and next door. Our first morning we needed takeout, and after calling here a few times with no answer, we had to go with Rusty Bike for convenience. The second morning, however, we had time to eat in person and chose the Mountain Grill. The food was delicious, especially the sweet potato pancakes! Like others have said, slow service, but worth it. It’s very much like you went to your grandma’s house for breakfast! :)

Small, cozy place. Great atmosphere, superior customer service. That said, I very highly recommend Mountain Grill. It is certainly NOT fast food- but it is prepared fresh when you order and it is amazing. Yes, the cinnamon rolls are wonderful, and Miss Suzie is the sweetest hard-working lady! All the staff are attentive and courteous (all 4 of them). You would be missing a true treat by not visiting Mountain Grill!

This is a great little gem. This is having breakfast with your grandma. Great food and attentive service. Hometown feeling. Sit back and relax and enjoy the smell of your food being freshly prepared. And don't forget the homemade breads and desserts.

Great place to enjoy a home cooked lunch or breakfast. The owner is very nice and makes sure her guests are well taken care of. The blueberry pancakes, biscuits with sausage gravy and oatmeal with sounds were delicious. Can't wait to go back. Don't go of you are looking for fast food service. Relax and enjoy the moment.

We actually stopped to try the Rusty Bike but it was packed so we decided to try here and we're glad we did. The fresh cinnamon rolls were fantastic. French toast was really good also. Very friendly staff and great service. Definitely worth trying. Will stop again next time we come through I'm sure.

The banana bread French toast was outstanding. Very sweet wait staff. Our friends also raved about the cinnamon toast, cinnamon rolls, meat lovers omelet.
